I guess I have a poor memory, because every fall when I switch back to bracelets and leather straps, I seem to quickly forget how incredible Breitling rubber straps are.

Then when summer rolls around and I outfit my watches for warm weather, I discover all over again that nothing I've ever worn — neither bracelets, nor leather, nor other brands of rubber straps — fits as precisely and as comfortably as my Breitling Diver Pros.

Since the Colt is my only Breitling now, my 22mm Hersheys usually find their way onto a couple of titanium quartz models that get a lot of extra use in warm weather, like the one pictured here. I know Sinn, Omega and Isofrane rubber straps are highly regarded, but I can't believe they can be any better than these.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the same way about Breitling rubber?

I've never tried Breitling's rubber straps yet, but do have one on one of my Bvlgaris, and it's a nice look and function for the summer. One reason I still like a bracelet over the rubber is because it allows your skin to breathe (between the spaces of the links), whereas the rubber doesn't allow this, so you end up sweating more with the rubber strap IMO. It's a nice look tho.

Most comfortable (and infinitely micro-adjustable) strap ever - DPII on the deploy. Supple, subtle, and perfect. I much prefer it over the OR strap which is less buttery and a tad less comfortable on the wrist just due to the style of the underside. Still a close #2.

I have 2 Lings on the DP II with deployant, a 22-20 and a 20-18, love them both. My favorite for summer.

Ever since I put the OR w/deploy on my SF I have rarely worn the bracelet. Like Sharkman says the micro adjust is simply fantastic! Guess I'll have to try the DPII next though.

I was very (very very) sceptical about the alleged comfort of the Diver Pro (Hershey) but I have to say that it truly lives up to all the hype and far exceeds it. Been wearing it for four days straight now and am very happy I decided to take the plunge.

I do have a small issue with the (buckle) springbar, yesterday when I took my watch off it somehow opened up (probably because of me working the strap sideways while threading the tail out of the buckle's keeper part) but luckily I caught the watch before it fell. Tried to recreate the scenario again today and it wasn't that hard to get the spring bar to pop out.... At the moment I'm a bit hesitant about it but I'll try changing the springbar first. Going on a sailing trip later this month at it made me kind of wary to use the rubber there. Maybe I'll go the NATO strap way for that..

Anyone else with the same experience?

Once I fitted an OR and deployment I never went back.
10x the adjustability and comfort.
Also looks better IMHO

I've owned four DP I & DP II straps and never had that happen. I have to believe a faulty spring bar is to blame.

Got the spring bar exchanged at the AD yesterday and it seems to have worked. Thanks!
