Hi, first post here.

I have a Navitimer Heritage bought 6 years old.

Anyways i have a bit of debt problems at the moment and need to get rid of my credit card so the watch will have to go.

I have contacted a few retailers online and they have only offered £1400 yet will sell it for £2300.

Anyway i can get a fair price for the watch as it will break my heart to sell it anyway and fro 1400 it feels like im giving it away.

Put it on EBAY with a reserve you can live with. Or a straight buy it now at the price you want!

Of course, just look at how many watches sell there every day. You can always put a restriction in your description about brand new members or low feedback buyers.

You can also list the watch in the sales section here - there are guidelines set out in that section for what you need to do.

When selling high-price items, I would always ask those with little to no feedback to message me when they bid with their intentions, otherwise their bid is removed.

You should always wait for the money to clear your account before posting the watch, too.

FAQs suggest looking at completed sales on eBay and dealer asking prices on Chrono24 - it comes up fairly regularly to give you ideas. You also know what a dealer is offering you and what they are planning to sell for which narrows the range.

To me the OP, although new and perhaps not aware of the forum rules, is soliciting offers according to the rules.
As such, even if not complete, this post should belong to the FS board.

OP = "Original Poster" in the thread (i.e. in this case, you). FS = "For Sale" sub-forum here.
