These are side shots from the 360 view on the Breitling and B4B websites. The perspectives may not be identical, but I'm not really seeing the offset on the BB (if it's there, it's very slight), whereas it looks pretty clear on the 6.75.

Just curious, as I noticed that on a Blackbird, the crown and pushers sit at the same level whereas on my Crosswind Special, the crown sits slightly below pushers (signifying that the movement is modular). This is consistent with the way it is on the Bentley 6.75 too (crown below the pushers). I thought that the Blackbird and Crosswind Special shared the same B44 movement. Anyone know the answer? |

Yes the BB (from 2007 onwards - i.e. the big date version) uses exactly the same movement as the Crosswind Special (and the 6.75). It's an ETA 2892 with a big date module (as you rightly said) mounted on top, so the crown and pushpieces aren't aligned. I don't own a BB, but I'd be very surprised if they weren't offset...... |

Thanks Driver8...that's what I thought, but when I saw some Blackbirds on eBay, it looked like the crown and pushers were not offset... |

Yes, thanks! That's what I'm talking about. On the BB, it looks like it's all in one line. Strange. Wonder if they figured out how to relocate the stem even though the movement is modular. |

Just look at the difference in the size of the pushers, no reason why the push rod has to be centred. It's a modular movement, they're offset. |
