Sorry if already posted, but do't' recall seeing any discussion about it. LE SO in Abyss orange with only one strap option on tang. Looks like they borrowed the strap idea from the M2000 Chrono. I like the orange, but wish they strap had deployment or better yet black/orange rubber with push button clasp. At the very least an afordable limited edition...not sure how limited 2,000 really is. If you like the latest incarnation of the SO, more of the same...if you are not a fan, more of the same.

I'm on the fence. Leaning towards "not like," but still on the fence.

Typical Breitling, take an existing model, add some color, and call it an LE. Unreal. But I do like the new strap, I think they're on to something there.

The new strap is pretty nice - looks like Breiting finally broke its own code of only having contrasting stitching on OEM straps.

The Abyss is an abomination, IMO, and a fresh coat of orange lacquer doesn't change that in my mind.

If it were the 44mm model with yellow, I would like it.

I believe they already had the SO Abyss in both light blue and orange as LE boutique only models so maybe they're just making it available now to all ADs.

Don't like orange. I like the new strap but wonder if it is in keeping with a high-end watch?

Roughly translated - they needed more places to try and flog it!

The straps are going in the right direction finally, the watches, not so much.

Ah, it's not that bad, not any worse than the red and yellow versions. I think they covered all the colors now. Really need to brush the case on this model though.

Not the right colours otherwise one more at the top and one more at the bottom of this picture and we could be looking at the London 2012 Olympic Rings Special Collection :D :D :D
I'm sorry but all these colour variants remind me of my wife's Gucci watch from some years back that came with half a dozen coloured screw on bezels. Something I have no problem with coming from a fashion brand however not one that is promoting "Instruments for Professionals", IMHO at least.

I like it. The color combo with matching strap looks good to me.

I just noted on the breitling website, that they have the new coloured strap to match all the SO colours, and it has no mention of anything at all LE related. Here it is in yellow. I would buy this today if not for the white date wheel. No-pip bezel and lack of brushed finish be damned! Can't wait to see how it looks in real world pics when sharkie gets one!

The back of the strap is the same colour as the sides as well:
