Hi there, a friend of mine try to sold me A2432212/C651. I try to search in online and I came out with 2 different result. A2432212/C651 and A2432212/C651-102X. Some of the website claim that A2432212/C651-102X is black friday edition. I just wont to clarify what's the different between these two. Which ETA movement did they use? which one is better. Thx

:welcome:

A2432212/C651 is the Breitling code for the watch and -102X the code for the strap.

A=steel case
24=Breitling 24 movement (modified ETA Valjoux 7754)
3=COSC certified
22=model reference
12=polished case
C=blue dial
651=dial design reference
102X=strap reference

Have a look at the breakdown of the codes I did here http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_refnos.shtml

A list of known strap references is here http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_refnos_bracelet.shtml 102X is not on that list but would appear to be blue leather 24/20.

"Black Friday" has nothing to do with Breitling but the start of the Christmas shopping season in the USA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_%28shopping%29

Post pics of the watch you plan to buy in the replica section if you want us to check its real.

For the non-experts here, does anybody care to tell us the name of the model?

Edit: Never mind. Google does wonders.

(Ironically, I just said the other day that I still ask lame, newb-like questions from time to time.)

I don't think i'm gonna buy this piece, but thank you. For some reason it have "chronometer" written on it, but no sign "swiss made" on the dial. So I don't think i'll spend 6k for a watch which is made elsewhere.

It's made in Switzerland (it couldn't be COSC certified otherwise). The decision not to put Swiss Made on the dial was simply a Breitling design approach, there's no requirement to do it.
