Just a guess, I'd say it's a 2006 model. That's the first year the Colt Quart II came out, and the square second hand is from the 2005-2006 era.

I could be wrong, and if I am someone will correct me.

Definitely not the current model. The new ones come with Pro II bracelets. Also, the current model has the concentric circles on the dial. It could be anywhere from a 95 to an 05, either quartz or superquartz. Its tough to tell from that dial pic alone.

If you can, have the seller (I assume you are looking at it to buy) give you the reference number on the case back. That will be a sure way to identify it.

From 1999-2001 the model was called a Colt Ocean, Caliber 64, This was written on the Dial, Jerseywatchmans model is the Caliber 74.

That would be a completely different model. There was also a Colt Quartz (Cal. 64 non-SQ) made from the mid nineties up to 01 or 02 when the SQ (Cal. 74) Colt Quartz was introduced. Both models look identical, and as far as I know, only differ by movement.

Ok i've got all the chronologs in front of me now. A lot of confusion comes from Breitling using names one year and dropping them later, even later they bring them back.
The Colt from the mid 90's was a caliber 57 movement which used a button battery (394) 3-4 year life and 300m-1000Ft water resistance, 18mm lugs and a mineral crystal.

In 1999 the Colt was rebranded Colt Ocean Quartz caliber 64 using a bigger battery (CR2016 8 year life), The same in all respects except 500m water resistance and around 9 gramms heavier and 2mm thicker and a sapphire crystal.

In 2002 the name was revised back to Colt Quartz with a Super Quartz caliber 74 movement (CR2016 Battery) same 500m water Resistance, same weight but another 2mm thicker.

In 2006-2008 The same Caliber 74 movement, but the case was enlarged a little, up 3mm, weight up 27 grammes and now with 20mm lugs.

I hope this helps :?

There we go. Sounds like the mystery of the Colt line has been deciphered  Its confusing to say the least! Must be an 02-05 then.

Details of this watch are diameter 38mm, 14mm thick, 60.10 gramms, fighter bracelet, last sold for £1030.00 in the uk in 2005 , But many dealers may still have stocks of this model and you may find a later date on the warranty.
