My Breitling Chrono Avenger came with a Pro I rubber strap. I decided to finally try out the rubber strap and see how it feels on the wrist. Perhaps I'm not used to it, but I really prefer the Pro I bracelet better than the rubber dive strap. The rubber strap, I can feel it at the bottom of my wrist (mainly the tongue part of the buckle), and the Pro I Ti bracelet, I hardly notice it. I'm going to try it for another day and see if I get used to it more. |

I'm interested on trying mine on a Pro diver as an alternative to the Pro II bracelet on occasion so I'm interested to see how you get on. -- Gyp Avenger Seawolf Chrono |

I had the Pro II rubber strap on my CA and couldn't get used to it, even after 3 months of wearing it. I found it awkward to put on and take off. I switched to a custom made leather strap until I sourced a used titanium bracelet. Rubber is probably the best option for diving etc but for general wear I prefer a bracelet over rubber and leather. |

I definitely concur that rubber is the best choice for diving. Comfort and cleaning are just two of its advantages. However, I definitely prefer leather over the bracelet. I find it much classier among other things. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 |

I normally sleep with my watch on, and I just couldn't get used to the feeling of the rubber strap on my wrist - I mean I felt that it was on. With the Ti Bracelet, I don't feel it at all. It gave the watch a new look and definitely a new feel, but I'm sticking with Ti. |

I think it's the buckle on the rubber straps that makes them less comfortable. One trick I use is to change how I use it... instead of feeding it through both parts of the buckle, I buckle the first part, then just lay it over the second part of the buckle and straight into the rubber keeper. It looks and feels more like a regular buckle that way. It's far more comfortable this way and sits more flat without puckering on the underside of my wrist. It's secure as well, although when I'm going to dive with it I buckle it as regular way and it's tight as a drum. Anyway, hope that makes sense. I would post a pic, but I still have to figure out how to post on this forum. Cheers guys Ross |

It is too large and awkward and it is uncomfortable. The deploy for rubber on the other hand is da bomb. Extremely comfortable and simple to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just did the same thing last week. I always do in the summer because the sweat doesn't feel as nasty in the humidity. The rubber bracelet gives it a completely different look but it does take some getting used to. Overall I say it is worth the $150. |

Yeah, that sums it up on what I noticed/felt. Can you send a photo of how you did this? Thanks. Time2time wrote: I think it's the buckle on the rubber straps that makes them less comfortable. I love Breitling rubber straps, I find them very comfortable, however I strongly prefer deploy over tang. I recently picked up a brand new SA Blacksteel and swapped out the rubber on tang for a Pro II rubber on blacksteel deploy. Incredibly comfortable. |

Can the rubber strap be fitted with deployant buckle? |

roadcarver wrote: Can the rubber strap be fitted with deployant buckle? The Ocean Racer and Diver Pro II are available on deployant (OR only on deployant), the old Diver Pro I (the one with Breitling written on it) was only available on tang. |

Currently have my B1 on an ocean racer deploy. Feels/looks great and as said the clasp is a wonderful thing. |
