My Motors is about 5 years old. I had sent it in for service as it was loosing about 10 minutes a month in time. The date wheel also frequently stopped half way through the daily date change and I had to manually move the date forward the "rest of the way." I just got it back and it cost me $1000. For that I got a complete overhaul, new date wheel and new hands. My question is; does seem normal for a five year old watch? |

That's more than regular servicing costs which would come to about $700 plus taxes by the time the hands are factored in. There will have been some additional work done, maybe related to the date wheel, and Breitling should be able to explain what that was if it's not detailed on the invoice. |
