Does anyone have an idea if this model is still being made by Breitling http://www.breitling.com/en/models/chro ... /index.php ? Or where can I find that info?

My local dealer is very shortcoming and trying to sell me his own stock.

Thank you in advance!

Well yeah it is the discontinued Chronomat Evolution given a new name while they sell out remaining stock. Of you like it, get it, because new ones like that will soon be gone from the ADs' inventory for good.

Just make sure to call Wells Fargo, Al, before you try to buy it - http://videosift.com/video/Al-Pacino-ch ... Impression

Haha! Thank you, sharkman!

So, I guess my AD is not messing around. They have a few Chronomat Evolution's left. One of them: A1335611/C645/372A for €4650 - and they offered me a %20 discount.

What do you think, sharkman, is the above worth it? This: B1335611|B918|372D was the model I was originally hoping to buy.

Thanks again!

I'm of the opinion it isn't worth settling for less than what you really want just to get a deal. I've done that before, and I've never been happy with the purchases. So, if it were me, I would have to ask myself if I would really be settling by going with what the AD is offering me. If so, I would pass on it.

Also, it's worth pointing out that 20% off list is still pretty standard. It is definitely a worthwhile discount, but it isn't some extra-special, "everything must go" kind of deal. If you're really set on a model with gold rider tabs, you might want to call around.

Its pretty good for those guys across the pond, where discounts arent quite as deep as they are over here.

Fair enough. I still don't know that I would consider it worth buying a watch I didn't ideally want. But if he likes the model the AD is offering, then it sounds like it's a pretty good deal.
