Hi, does anyone know if I can remove the buckle from a driver Pro 1 or 2 rubber strap and use it on a leather strap?

You can assuming that it is tang (Pro II rubber is available on either tang or deployant and deployant won't work as easily).

Yes it's a tang not a deployant. Will it work? Also, anyone have tried it can provide pictures?

For the 3rd time in two threads....

Yes.

There is only one tang buckle so pictures aren't going to show you much.

Actually, im not sure it will work. The buckle on the DP1 (not sure about the DPII) is a different type. The end of the strap loops through the buckle twice, as opposed to a standard tang buckle that just basically holds the strap down. Also, the rubber buckle is made to accommodate a super thick rubber strap and the pin is a different size altogether.

Really? I can't say that I have put them side by side, but they are never listed separately - even on price list just one item.

I stand corrected (three times apparently)
