Hi guys,

Sorry for the newb post.

Just picked up a Breitling Cockpit (2 tone, yellow gold), new dial version with a Pilot bracelet (2 tone, yellow gold) from Bijoux shop in Montego Bay airport.

I bought it on a whim (6 hour delay) because it seemed like a good deal as it is no longer in production but wondering if I have got as good a deal as i thought. I like it so it shouldn't really matter but I paid $4750 for it?

Been searching about for as much info as poss but due to it not having been in production for the a few years I'm not finding out much. I'm guessing it is 2009-10 model but it seems strange that Bijoux would still have this in stock.

I guess boredom and a few drinks made me buy it spur of the moment and i'm normally the type of person to spend hours researching something beforehand.

I've only bought Tags before but can see this Breitling thing becoming about of an obsession. If only I earned more money!

As far as the numbers go, looks like that is a 2008 or 2009 model year. List price in 2009 was about $6500. You got about 27% off 2009 price (list prices have gone up since).

As far as the watch, great looking piece - nice pickup!

Thanks very much. Wasn't sure when the dial changed and thought it wasn't until 2009 for some reason. I was just concerned that he would still have had stock from then.

I will def enjoy it, thanks. Really been enjoying checking out other people's watches on this forum. You guys really know your stuff.
