i've read in the models section that this is a mens watch ?

Its 34mm and the 2002-2004 version...... and should be with me by early next week.

is she gonna hate me ??????

She has had quite a few watches, from a small Cartier Santos to a 31mm Midsize datejust.

Just worried about the size.

Also read its a 200m watch, yet still has a push down crown? .... its a watch i want her to wear on holiday without worry.

Assuming she likes it of course.

Push-down crowns were around on a few water resistant watches a few years ago (certainly in the 50 - 200m range), so as long as the seals have been checked it'll be fine.

IMO 34mm is definitely fine as a woman's watch unless she particularly tiny. I've seen women wearing 40mm Rolies and while those can look big (again depending on the woman!) they haven't looked totally out of place. 34mm should be no problem at all IMO.

My wife has it with a gold bezel and a red leather strap. It looks feminine to us.

Due to the age of the watch dont take it near water unless it has been tested and sealed by BUK.

Two of the 34.4mm Callistos for my wife, all SS and two tone 18K/SS. The Callistino was too small, the Cockpit Lady was better but the Callisto is just right. Much easier to read and IMO the best all around ladie's wristwatch Breitling ever produced. Here is her all SS version...
Best,
Ron

Well it arrived late last night.

What a beautifully proportioned watch. Can't imagine any sort of fella wearing this. It doesnt even look 34mm. Deep blue dial, pretty much BNIB.

I haven't given it to her yet. I was possibly thinking of getting a bezel (diamond) for it.
Although I don't want to have to set the original bezel. As if it goes in to BUK I'd want no issues.

But finding one seems nigh on impossible.

Bezel just like yours Ron above would do the trick ;-)

Gorgeous! She will absolutely LOVE it! :lingsrock: BTW, I have a brand new OEM Breitling black lizard and deployant for that watch if you're interested. My sister and my wife both only wear theirs on the Pilot bracelet and have no interest in straps. I put it on wifey's SS Callisto just for pics earlier this year... :) BTW, her bezel is OEM breitling and literally impossible to find even through Breitling who will not "refit" a watch with one for a customer unfortunately.
Best,
Ron
