Hello everybody this is my first post but I'm a long time lurker. I'm very happy to tell you guys that today I pulled a trigger on a Chronomat Flying Fish! The AD told me that they should have it in around 20 days. when I get it i'll make sure to upload a bunch of pictures. ![]() I bought it as a present for myself after graduating from college, I worked my butt off to save up even though I didnt know by the time I started saving what watch I wanted. The choices I had in my mind were a Omega Planet Ocean Ti LM, IWC ingenieur ME, Pam 312 and the Flying Fish. I was going back and forth between these watches and by the time i saw the FF in person I fell in love. not only that but thinking again I couldnt convince myself on the other watches, first the PO didnt "scream" at me when I saw it, the IWC Ingy bored me after a while, the pam 312 is not my grail pam so i was afraid I would end up trading it soon or regreting not getting the one I really wanted (pam 233 wil have to wait). And then the Breitling FF, it surpassed all my expectations heart and brain wise: size, heft, water resistance,in house movement, brushed finish, quality, strap versatility etc. I can't see the square that the new chronomats have in the dial even though it never bothered me, i really like the buckified font in the brushed bezel and well what more can I say, I really LOVE it. ![]() I'm from Mexico and I live in Playa del Carmen which is in the caribbean so I wanted to have a diver in my small collection so this watch will be seeing intensive use in the ocean, just how it is supposed to ![]() So then again I'll upload pics as soon as I get it! Until then ![]() Saludos Jorge B |
