What are your thoughts on the new Super Avenger? I saw one at Costco today and thought the plastic around the bezel looked silly, gave it a very cheap look, in my opinion. |

Yep, occasionally when you buy one from an AD it won't have its protector. But it's designed to come off and be discarded. You see them in the sale section from time to time. Easy mistake to make if you've never seen one before. |

Certainly there are some for the Windrider / Aeromarine ranges (or current named equivalents), but use isn't universal - I have seen watches being unpacked straight from Switzerland without them. |

Damn does my Super Avenger look a whole lot better now! ...but not sure why they have that string and cheap looking plastic tag hanging off the bracelet. Sort of gets annoying flopping all over the place. This post reminds me of when I was 5 or 6 and tried to eat a fury little yellow chicken that was with my Easter candy, only it wasn't candy. I wonder if I could have recognized a bezel protector then? Tough call. That's a true story by the way.
