There's a Blacksteel for sale in Ernest Jones in Portsmouth. (Or at least there was a week or so back). May be worth a call? You shoudl be able to find the number on line.

Prices in the States are a lot less than here (and US AD's are more open to discounting), so you WILL be able to pick up one of the other two cheaper than in this country without a doubt.

I don't see any reason why the Legende couldn't be worn daily provided you are reasonably careful. Obviously this is assuming you're not a deep sea diver or something! :wink:

As long as you don't swim, or dig up roads, or mix concrete while wearing it then it should be absolutely fine.

If it's of any help, I'm in nyc and I actually bought a Legende earlier this year. $5600 at Tourneau, but I am positive you can find a better deal if you look hard enough.

It's my daily watch. It generally comes off when I wear a suit. (Way too sporty and ostentatious for dress imho)

The Legende was between £3890 and £3950 (~ $7900)
The Super Avenger was around £2750 (~$5500)
I couldn't find the Blacksteel anywhere

Hi! I live in Dubai and I can assure you the prices are much lesser here than anywhere in Europe! In fact - PROBABLY Singapore is the only location cheaper than here. I am not sure about prices in NY.

I just bought my SuperAvenger 3 days back for AED 15,100 (That is USD 4,125) after a 15% discount. But I am not sure if they have any SA's with them. I pre-booked with the AD and after much follow up I managed to get my SA.

All the Breitling Stores in Dubai - about 7 in all - are operated by the same AD - Kunooz Jewellers. I suggest you directly head to the Breitling Boutique in 'Mall of The Emirates' since they are the largest showroom.
The AD is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and will help you.

Also My advice on the Blacksteel is - AVOID. Sure the watch looks good - but you will NEVER be able to wear it with a steel bracelet. Which is a shame.

Mine is exactly what you want! Black with Silver Sub Dials! I have been ogling at the photos of the SA last 2 months - waiting for the AD to get the next consignment. And know what? No photos can do justice to the beauty of an SA in the flesh! It is awesome!
I hope to be posting a review with snaps here in the next 1-2 days. So lookout for that!

Yes - the 15% Discount is standard they will offer - even without you asking for it. But then again, not a cent more than 15% Off. They are good that way!

They just got a consignment 2 days back. The phone number of the AD's Office (Mind You, the Head Office - NOT Their Retail showrooms) is +971-4-2248466. This number is also on the Breitling website. Call them and check for the prices and availability! The Head Office has info of next consignments etc. much before that news travels to the Retail Stores - so you will have an accurate idea and can plan your Dubai Trip accordingly!

Hello everyone, just joined the forum; I'm 26 years old and currently living in London, UK. I have been a huge Breitling fan for years - owned a two tone Aeromarine a while back(not sure what model it was, yes I know it's shameful lol) but I had to sell it shortly after due to unforeseen circumstances. I'm looking to buy a Breitling watch (or two if the price is right ); and I've narrowed it down to three models: The Navitimer Montbrillant Legende, The Super Avenger and the LE Skyland Avenger Blacksteel. I've been to several stores in London over the last couple of weeks to check them out but the prices I'm seeing are ridiculous: The Legende was between £3890 and £3950 (~ $7900) The Super Avenger was around £2750 (~$5500) I couldn't find the Blacksteel anywhere I have a couple of questions; I have the option to travel to New York or Dubai in the next two weeks - where I go to really depends on how much the watches go for (sorry if I sound like such a cheapskate), what kind of prices/deals will I be looking at? Will I be able to get the Blacksteel in any of those cities? Can the Legende be used as an everyday watch? Thank you very much for your anticipated help....

I know of one Blacksteel in Toronto - available a couple of weeks ago for (I think) $4,700 Canadian plus taxes. I agree that you could use the Legende as an everyday watch - I use mine as a dress watch because it's TT which definitely dresses it up, but certainly practical for non water related life. The Blacksteel is awesome - mine generally lives on my wrist from Friday to Sunday.

Thanks.... just called Ernest Jones and the lady I spoke to said they sold it about a week ago Roffensian, thanks but I prefer to see what I'm buying (in person.....for now lol) and besides I'll still have to pay import duty which sucks... So I guess it's between the Legende and the Super Avenger (or both ) I've seen both in person; I think I prefer the black dial Legend to the brown one....what an amazing watch... it's almost a crime to wear it daily (but I would). :p If it was swim proof it would be a no-brainer. The Super Avenger is a beast.... saw a white one at Harvey Nichols for £2760... I'll pick both if I could get a fantastic deal.....
