i saw this watch in person and guess was a bit surprised with that price tag. Looks like a standard evolution, I understand its 18k WG, but a $20k price tag??? Don't get me wrong, its pretty watch, but just outta curiosity with it being only limited to 100, is it highly sought after piece??? Guess i just can't justify the price being that it looks just like a regular evo |

It's not uncommon for rare metal pieces to be issued limited to 100. But if they made 100 with that dial, oh my, ![]() The pricing is in the vicinity of most gold Breitling's. Just one of those watch things - the increase in price is always much more than the cost of the metal used to make it. |

That's actually a standard colour on the Chrono Cockpit! Precious metals are generally harder to work than steel which is part of the cost differential, but in most part it's simply because they can. The problem with being an AD left with it now is that the going rate in the secondary market is probably around $6,000. |

I'd pay $20,000 to have a guarantee that I'd never have to put that on my wrist. That's awful. |

Guess i just can't justify the price being that it looks just like a regular evo have you ever compared the price of a 18k WG sub to its SS brother?? its about the same ratio as the Breitling and its not even an LE. that said, i would not spend 20k on a breitling. |

Ok, so i expect derision to rain down on me for this... but i like it. I certainly wouldn't pay $20, 000 for it or even 6k. But i like the colour. ![]() |
