I'm not sure what you are asking. The watch is real and sales fall through on eBay for any number of reasons. Just over half of list price is probably about right. |

The most likely scenario is a shill bid to protect it, won it. Otherwise there would be no need to make the bidding private. It happens all the time! Even though it is against the rules, and not the right thing to do, I understand it, and accept it. The bottom line is only bid what you're happy to pay and who cares if the listing is manipulated. You can't help it anyway so just watch out for yourself. Sellers do this because reserve auctions are more expensive, and bidding (without one) generally ends up with a better result, not to mention you can take a pretty huge loss if it slips through. |

Thanks for the insight. I pulled out at £1500 as it was not exactly what i wanted. Am looking for a blue dial, but it seemed like such a bargain that i had to have a go. Glad i wised up!! |
