Why does this read like a commercial?

Shame that it's such a lousy store to have got them, better than it used to be with the old manager, but that's not saying much.

I suspect that you are right. Perhaps I should go across to the store and ask meimei for a cheque for their commercial account on admin's behalf. I sure as heck wouldn't go there to buy a Breitling despite it being about 2 minutes walk, and the opportunity to say that seems good enough reason to let the post stand.

On a serious note... Does anyone other than the douche canoe looking for free advertising know the MSRP in USD? I quite like this piece.

Thanks.

Go to Breitling's website and you can get the price for the combo that you want on the 'Made to Measure' feature. Looks like C$9,370 on the Navitimer bracelet, US will probably be pretty much the same given current exchange rates.

Thanks Roff. I always forget about that feature. $8,295 USD on black calf with deploy...I'll pass. That is a lot of money in JLC currency.

Oh yeah and remember when USD was worth more than CAD? That was funny... (Sarcasm there. No contempt to America's hat from the north  )

Indeed, I used to be able to convert my US customers' cheques (that's like checks only using proper English :poke:  ) into Canadian dollars, now they just sit in US until the exchange rate improves

Agree on the price of the watch, it's a huge premium to pay for the 01 movement sans rotor.

In the pre-loved circuit, this watch may be worth owning ! A few to go for that I believe.

Limited to 1962 so the only two pieces worth owning for that price is number 1 and 1962. My 2 cent.
