Just got the new "chronolog" called RUNWAY 12, at the Bentley section there is the new Bentley GT 2, what do you think about it?
I think it is missing something, the GT 1 is way better looking in my opinion...

Doesn't do a thing for me. Maybe I'm just a pessimist, but in looking at it, I get the vague sense that the junky styling affecting some of the standard Breitlings is starting to seep into the Bentley line, as well.

The subdials are bizarre looking and far too small for the dial.

I don't like the sunburst finish. It a bit cheesy for such an expensive watch. And the subdials look painted on whereas they used to be "cut" into the dial.

It definitely doesnt looks as classy and sophisticated as the old model. Maybe some real life pics would show it off better.

I disagree about the sunburst/black hole dial though. I think it looks pretty cool, and wouldnt mind seeing something like that on some other models.

When you say "suburst," do you mean the gradient color transition? My understanding is sunburst is a dial finish, not a color. The new Spitfire has a sunburst finish, as does the Chronomat below. I'm not seeing anything indicating the new GT has that kind of finish on the dial.

I can see it actually pretty clearly in the GT....look close to the sliderule, see how light it is, then how dark it is in the middle.

He is saying that generally when we use the term "sunburst" in relation to Breitlings, we're talking about a pattern of radiating lines from the center of the dial outward, like on the sunburst dialed airwolf.

I guess here its referring to the gradient color changing pattern, similar to a sunburst finish on a fender strat.

Ahhh okay....I always understood the word "sunburst" to be a gradient color change. Thanks for clarifying.
