Well, to show you how rare these are , this thread was started 2 1/2 years ago, I had been searching for 1 1/2 already for an affordable black LE Mecanique and finally managed to buy one at a 'reasonable' price

On its way from Japan , pics to follow when I receive it !!

Congrats Rene! I keep an eye out for them, and only ever see around 1 per year (Fred's, the one I passed on in Sydney, and now yours!) Shame as they're such a beautiful model!

Stunning watch Fred, what a great acquisition to your enviable collection. Love the 'ghost' Arabic numerals, makes it look like a serious 'tool' for sure, enjoy.

Congratulation's Dracha, what a search - glad it's worked out for you! It's been fun re-reading this thread. I look forward to more pics of such a stunning and unique LE.

So do I !!

Knowing the japanese , and the person ive dealt with before , its going to get here quite quickly and without glitches , but i wanna wear it !

Some pieces are worth the wait , ive been hunting some for over 10 years and then wayne suddenly send me a msg 'have you seen that one ?'

This board is fantastic !

I thought I remembered this thread from a couple years ago and was wondering why it was back. This is a great reason. Congrats on the excellent acquisition, Dracha! Be sure to post pics when it arrives.

Hi Jonathan here….a little older (maybe a little wiser??)

Just wanted this forum crew to know there is a black Breitling Navitimer Mechanique Limited Model A11022.1 up on ebay right now.
I like the black version (but love the white face one), which I previously owned and sold to one of the forum members a few years ago…(I hope to be reunited with a white one some day)

here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Navitimer-Mechanique-Limited-Model-A110221-Limited-to-400-pieces-/171786921376

If anyone comes across a white face one (with papers) sometime please let me know!!

Just paying it forward.

Attached is the Breitling Datora I am currently rockin' (and my previous Mecanique)

resurrecting an old thread here - the information about launch date for the Mecanique Japan LE was incorrect - and the error keeps coming back to bite me ;), so finally corrected the thread title.

production year was 1998, not 2001 - 400 black, 200 white.

Any plans for something like this in the future from Kern?

Best thread resurrection I've seen :D I'm in love with this model of the navitimer. The white dial with arabic numerals is something else. How much do these go for, if you are able to find one?
