Firstly just wanted to say thank you. This forum is such an amazing resource. Basically I have always wanted a brietling, my favourite is the navitimer world. I don't quite have the money for that at the moment.

I have been looking at a used colt II chrono 2006 - 2011 (A73380) its on a pin hole leather strap with white face and blue dials. I have been given the price of £1050 GBP, with original box. Private sale.

Is this a good price?

If not what else can I be looking at for around the 1000-1200 mark.

My advise: Save more and buy the Navitmer, it sucks setteling on a "second choice" You'll aways think I should've gotten the Navitimer.....

I have been thinking it over for a few months now. I see the Navitimer as my "next" watch. I'm soon to be a graduate so I haven't got a huge amount of cash spare and it would take me quite some time to save for the World, that's why I have been looking at something a little more affordable.I agree with what you are saying though, it is a bit of a halfway.

You could get a B-1 for this money.
