Breitling uk service center tour

Hi

I got a tour of the uk service center, it looks very nice inside I was'nt allowed to take pictures.
But when I went trough the door their was a window with watchmakers sat at the benches I got to go in the watchmaking room and talk to some watchmakers and talk to a watchmaker teacher. i enjoyed it their factory is so cleen and looks like new. One watchmaker showed me a calinder weel with a microscopic mark an he said that was stoping the date changing.

Sounds very different to the Service Centre here in Taipei.
This one is a fairly small but comfortable office shared between the distribution staff and the one and only watchmaker, an elderly gentleman with his own section dedicated to his test instruments, drawers of spare parts, cleaning and polishing gear, etc.... I say gentleman because once you see him and talk to him he inspires confidence and piece of mind that your watch will be in good hands.
Very knowledgeable cap who is even Cal 01 certified and is right now working on my fourth watch and I'm going to miss him dearly when I relocate from Taiwan in two months time.

Yes it sound diffrent, This one has lots of watchmakers and a parts department for all the spares.They have theise electronic benches for repairing B01 and the parts come trough the bench on a carrige. And the more exsperianced people were at the end with a lathe.

I didn'nt go with them I know someone at breitling and he let me visit them.

Sorry Roff was'nt trying to have a go at you. Thank you very much for that as I did'nt put a lot of info about it and had no pic's. Sorry for that and thank you for helping me.

Is there a service center here in the U.S. or are they shipped out overseas for repair? If so, getting a tour of the one here stateside would be awesome!

There are several in the US. The main one is in Wilton CT, BUSA headquarters.
