Im in the market for a flying b chrono black face with black croc strap. I was recently told that it was discontinued but I was wondering if anyone still had them in inventory. |

Likely still in inventory at a lot of places - they were discontinued because no one bought them. You should be able to find them at significant discounts as well. |

Well I assume that means that you are in the US, so try FEAR for Provident in FL and give BUSA a call to see if they can point you to an AD with stock. |

I think this is an instance where you should look to the gray market. These things can be had for very deep discounts. http://www.authenticwatches.com/breitli ... -760p.html There is even a "make an offer" option. I wouldnt be surprised if you could get it for 55-60% off. |

It seems like they have pretty much every combo in stock and like RJ said, make an offer and see what you can get one for. |

wow I didn't think they could be had for that price. my only concern is if it's authentic or if it is real if it is defective. it's a lot of money to drop on a watch regardless to find out that it is cheaper bc it's a blem. anyone have any experiences with these types of places? |

It is authentic. If you assume Authenticwatch's warranty is worthless then consider it would cost $500-700 to get the watch serviced/fixed if there are any problems so you're still well off at 50-60% off of retail price. |

The reason that these pieces in particular are so cheap is that they were hugely overpriced originally and were horrible sellers, ADs dumped to the grey market just to get rid of them so the grey market sellers can discount heavily and still make money. |

Just got off the phone with them and I am extremely turned off. Even though the price was basically half of retail, something just didn't sit right with me. When I asked if I would receive the original papers with it they gave me a run around and told me that they were theirs and that I would receive warranty papers from them but not the originals even though they had them. Even at half price I would rather spend more and know exactly what I'm getting than wearing something that would eat away at me everytime I looked at it. So I guess the search continues.... ![]() |

So I guess the search continues.... ![]() Youll get the original papers, but not the warranty. Thats what gray market is. They are not authorized to sell Breitling, so the get the watch from an AD, throw away the warranty booklet (so that you wont send it to breitling under warranty, which will throw up a red flag for the AD), and give you their own in-house warranty. The watch is legit and brand new, but it just doesnt have a factory warranty. Considering the massive savings on the model you want, its not really a big deal since the value of the factory warranty is around $500-600 at most if you end up needing a service, and $0 at best if you have no issues during the first two years. Most of us here dont buy gray market because we can get similar deals from an AD, but with the huge discount on the flying B, I think gray market is the way to go. |

So I guess the search continues.... ![]() This is for ALL gray market dealers - you can't get the BUSA warranty because it would "out" the AD who sold to the gray market dealer. Even if you needed a full chrono service within the two years a BUSA warranty would otherwise be in effect and PAID for the service from BUSA, you are way ahead. When it comes to this particular model, the gray market is the place to go. In fact, really only this particular model right now. What Roff said twice more diplomatically than I am about to - these watches were a horrible failure. Overpriced and a generally disliked look. The ADs could barely give them away. And tons were dumped on the gray market because even with big discounts....well.....they were considered....um....not good looking?? Most would say at half off they are too expensive. |

thank you guys for all your help. is authentic watches the best place or is there another place like watchesonnet. the only reason I ask is because they were willing to take a credit card. so with my amazon visa I would have some recourse if something goes wrong and it would actually extend my warranty. |

I doubt it matters too much. Authenticwatches has a pretty good rep. Just be sure you get a firm commitment that the watch you order is actually in stock. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
