I would like to thank all of you on here who gave me such great advice on my first Breitling. I had bought it in London from a watch shop and it turned out to be fake. Thanks to the members knowledge they were able to give me legal advice and authenticate the watch as being fake.

I was able to get my money back!

Second time around I have just purchased a brand new Montbrilliant Olympus from an authorised dealer. Its the blue faced one which has the steel strap I might change the strap to leather when I decide which colour to go for.

Thanks again,

Jimmy

Nice - I do like the Olympus.

Navitimer bracelet looks good, but the croc will definitely dress it up.

currently trying to find camera and will throw photos up. Just read that the metal strap it comes with to buy seperatly for this piece is £750?

Is there anything that uniquely attributes the strap to the watch or am I okay to possibly sell the strap so I can get a croc strap?

The bracelet will only fit the Olympus model (I think) so it will only be of interest to an Olympus owner, but there is nothing to link it in terms of serial numbers to your watch (if that's what you mean). So yes you can sell away, and get some croco ass for it!

I know you probably dont want to wait, but you can always take it back to your dealer and have him order you a whole wetup just how you want it...no need to sell the bracelet that way, since its very unique and may prove difficult (I dont think many olympus owners buy without the bracelet). Some times, nice dealers will even swap it with a strap in t he store if available, and refer to the price list for the new price.
