Hi guys! I'm having a real hard time coming to my senses if this watch is worth it's asking price. I've received a price quote for $3 544 ($3 616 incl. paypal and shipping) Bought new in 2006 and has been serviced once according to previous owner, no documention on this though so it's useless. Basically I just need to make up my mind on this or sit tight, which I'm really bad at doing, and I'm hoping someone could shed some second opinion. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I would say it's priced a bit high, and without proof of the service, I would factor in sending it in for another. I would offer about $2750 and go from there. Then again, it depends how bad you want it, and how motivated the seller is. |

In the photos the 357A Pilot bracelet attached to the Evo is missing one of its original four removable links. IOW, if your wrist is larger than around 7 1/2" you'll have a tight fit. Ask the seller if he still has it cuz otherwise you're looking at between 75 to 150 USD to get another one (or two if you're wrist is 8" or larger). |

There are two ADs in Phoenix who consider me essential to there profitability. ![]() But expert or not, that watch is the real deal. Just priced too high. The former is fact, the latter opinion. |

For sure. I had about 30k posts on the subject elsewhere before your join date here. Out of sheer curiosity though,do you base your opinion solely on the dial and datefont?. |

davem wrote: For sure. I had about 30k posts on the subject elsewhere before your join date here. Out of sheer curiosity though,do you base your opinion solely on the dial and datefont?. Whoopie for you! ![]() For starters I've owned four Evos. Second we evaluate these all the time on this forum - where have you been oldtimer? - and the slight tells of the best fake version are well known. The cardinal ticks at 14, 15, 29, 31, 44, and 46. The presence of the 11 minute tick on the 30 minute sub dial. The date font. And the depth of the date wheel. The precision of the minute ticks on the bezel. The font, size and fill of the arabics on the rider tabs. The shape of the bracelet screw heads. The perfect lume length compared to the hour marker length. The size and flat sapphire crystal on the PIP. The engraving on the clasp and flip-lock is a dead give-away. Who are you and why am I explaining myself to you? ![]() BTW, the GIF is stupid. |

Then again, it depends how bad you want it, and how motivated the seller is. Yeah that's what I've been thinking as well. There is some kind of overconfidence in prices here in Europe. Time Bandit wrote: No way. You could grab a nice Blackbird for that! I'm not sure if you mean the A13350-model or the A44359 but I'm having a hard time finding the later model on a decent pricing level. The first Blackbird falls out since it would fit my girlfriend rather then me. Size wise that is. sharkman wrote: AND get the seller to throw in an OEM strap! Even under warranty Evos go for maybe $3100 on a good day. But 6 years old - even though it is in terrific condition - $2500-$2800 is what I've seen typically. As I said before I also think it's overpriced but with that said I find it equally hard to find a Evo in the pricerange that's below that. At least here in Europe. In CONUS it's a bit cheaper but then again I'd have to pay taxes and duties that would level the difference. I haven't been inspecting the bracelet at all yet. If I can guess I would say that it's probably as gone as the warranty. davem wrote: This is also the best faked BCE made, for this reason,i could not buy the genuine, unless from an AD. I know that sharkman continued the discussion on this but whether it's fake or not hasn't really been the issue here. But I appreciate your thoughts regarding this though. |

Last price from seller is $3 400 shipped. So I'll probably skip this one to wait for a better offer. Seems incredibly hard to find BCE's in a decent price-range in Europe. |
