Please follow the link below to my latest review: The Montbrillant Legende Limited Edition. I have to confess that this has never been my favourite of the Navitimer line-up due to the increase in dimension and the fact that I love the classic version and the Cosmonaute so much. However, I truly enjoyed borrowing this contemporary take on the original Navitimer. http://www.andrewmichaels.co.uk/blog/mo ... -a23350-2/ As always, your comments and critique are welcome. |

Nice review ricardo. ![]() I've never been a huge Legende fan either myself, but this version is one of the better ones, except for the stark white date window at 4.30. I'm not really a fan of 4.30 date windows anyway, but I can live with them if they are colour-matched to the dial and fairly unobtrusive. The best example IMO is the Ploprof as it totally blends in with the dial. The white date wheel on this one really clashes for me. |

Thanks for the link. Your writeup on the Transocean Chrono helped me decide to buy that watch (non LE) -- a decision with which I am entirely happy. |

I agree about the date window because although it is legible and offers another point of interest it is ruinous to the symmetry of the dial. Its a little frustrating because Breitling have proved they can create discrete yet functional date displays on the the Navi 01, for example. |
