I am currently seeking a Chronomat 41 in the blackeye grey dial. I think this size fits my wrist much better than the 41 does.

I have looked around some AD's around the SLC area where I'm moving to, and some won't budge an inch from the MSRP, citing 'well it is a breitling'. However I read that people around the forums get up to 20% off the MSRP. Is there a tactic to use in this situation? Should I be calling AD's in other areas of the country to see what they can do?

Thanks!

Vandy

Assuming SLC = Salt Lake City, so assume that you are US based. There are two US based AD sponsors - contact jnelson3097 for Govbergs and FEAR for Provident.

Either of them will be able to help you out.

What on earth is WRONG with some ADs?!? No we won't discount, "After all it IS a Breitling." not only is that a stupid statement it cost them a sale. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Well, they definitely lost a customer in this case. Thanks Geoff!

Should be getting it Monday or Tuesday!

Congrats! Nice looking piece, saw the black-eye-gray a couple weeks ago at an AD and it looked great (a little shiny for me, ha!).

Maybe some pics when it arrives? :cheer:

yeah, all I've seen is black-eye-blue on rubber (nope!) and a silver dial with diamond markers(double nope). looking forward to some pics with other dials. it seems this is my only Breitling option left. :(

I have seen the 41 in the grey dial in person. I love it. I don't have another grey dialed watch and I didn't like the white subdials on the black dial.

I have several 44 mm watches and I don't like the size as much as I used to. My current daily weather is a Sinn 356, which is 38.5 mm. My decision was down to this and the Rolex Milgauss. I think the Breitling has a more 'it' factor and the deal came in below the rolex.

That's the way I see it, polished bezel (?).

Looks like a polished bezel with brushed case and bracelet. I'd prefer it all brushed, and sans square dial, but in all, that's the best looking Chronomat 41 I've yet seen.
