Post subject: | Buying Breitling on holiday (Help) |
Hi guys, in Three weeks I'll be cruising the Carribean. ![]() ![]() ![]() Doing a week on land (Orlando / Kissimee area) and a week at sea, set sail from Port Canaveral and will visit the following, Belieze, Honduras and the Bahamas. (Freeport) The question is, where would be the best place to look for a bargain Breitling purchase ? Where would my money go furthest, any places / dealers / shops to recommend. (Or of course avoid) Any personal experiences to relate ? (Good or bad) Would I be better off looking whilst in the Orlando / Kissimee area ? All comments / help / advice would be very much appreciated, Thank you and regards, The Soulman. |

There is a Breitling Boutique in Nassau on Bay Street. It's run by Little Switzerland. When I was there in March, they had a lot of Bentley models, a lot of Evos, and very little models from the aeromarine class. They wouldn't give anything more than 20% off, but you could easily find a better deal from ADs elsewhere. Justin |

If it were me, I would look up AD's on the Breitling website and gather a list, then call or email them to set up a discount before you get there, this way you will have peace of mind as well as the best deal without wasting time while on holiday ![]() |

I looked before I went on vacation and sent emails to the ADs asking their prices. They said they weren't allowed to go over 20%, they're big on promoting that their watches are duty free. Any watch can be sales tax free if you buy from an out of state AD. There are better deals stateside. Maybe if you have cash in hand when you go there you might be better off getting more than 20%. Anyone else ? I'm really looking for recommendations for non AD oultlets, I'm looking to buy something as a daily wearer, not sure as to what model, (Depends what I see / catches my eye) preferably not in perfect condition and therefore a good price, (A visit to B-UK service and the watch appears new) so can anyone recommend any such retailers / sellers in any of the places / ports that I've mentioned, has anyone any personal experience to relate (Good or bad) of buying from any of these places, your help / advice / comments would be much appreciated, Regards, The Soulman. |

If you want to buy used, you can always check the sales corner here or on the other sites. Youll find just about the best deals around. Plus, your money goes a long way if you can find a US seller to ship to you. Or, have it shipped to your US address while your there. |
