I was looking at the breitling website yesterday and I saw a Bentley barnato 42 and thought that this could be my next watch so I went to an AD to look at one, no luck and due to the weekend they could not even give me a price. Any idea what the price would run?

I was at the boutique in NYC on Thursday and they said it will be $8,330 on a steel bracelet and $7,420 on a croc deply. I forgot to get the pricing on the plain brown strap they have on it in the sample pic.....

That's good news that it will be available on a bracelet. The website lists "rubber/Speed" as a strap option, and I didn't 't know what that meant.

Did you see any dial colors besides white?

They didn't actually have the watch in the store yet, they said probably next month, but they had the price listing for the 2012 Basel releases there. I found a couple of pics of them just doing a google search. There was a black faced one on a bracelet as well as the white one:

Thanks, Natesen. The black one looks promising, although I'm not sure about the red (orange?) accents on the subdials.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if that black one has red or orange accents. I didn't even realize there was going to even be a black one until I saw that picture. The breitling site doesn't really say anything about colors/options or even bracelets. The lady at the boutique said she would give me a call when it comes in so I'll go check it out and give an update and hopefully some more pics.....

I think it looks pretty awesome in the pics though, I was in the market for a white/silver faced watch and was considering the bentley gt racing, but now I think I'm going to have to at least wait and see what this one looks like in person.

Thanks for the info, the pics look great. My AD called me back today and said they would not be out until later in the summer, guess I'll just have to wait. :(

Hi all,
I was invited to the unveiling of the new Breiling range at Selfridge’s oxford street in London.
I had no intention of buying another Breitling but then I saw the Bentley Barnato 42, in silver with a white face and silver bracelet. It was gorgeous and in no time at all I was in love. By now I was on my third glass of Champagne!!! The sales lady said that they were the only store in London selling them and they wouldn’t be available any were else for some time.
This special showing was on Friday night. I decided that no way was I going to impulse buy and then left the store.
Two sleepless nights later I went back and bought it and God is it beautiful.
It’s not too big and it’s not in your face, it just looks really elegant and classy.
The cost was £6,090.00 BP
I told the sales lady that this is the eighth Breitling I’ve bought (only the second from her), could she have a ward with Breitling about maybe sending me a baseball cap?
On Friday morning my wife called me to tell me that a parcel had arrived for me at home and it was from Breitling. I got home and opened it only to find some really nice gifts which they said was for the family to enjoy.
The box contained the following:
Flying jacket
Tee shirt
Leather wallet
Leather trinket box
The Breitling book (which is a safe)
It was like Christmas all over again…

What nice people the London Breitling people are.

Sounds like you had a great experience all around. Free Champagne, a bunch of goodies, and one of the nicer Bentley models to come out in recent years. Congrats, and welcome to B-Source.

Thanks for the worm welcome.

yes a great experience, some great goodies, but free champagne?? No such thing as free.
I’m sure I’ve paid good money for it over the years. None the less it’s good to be appreciated.
