I had a layover in london, and saw two different people wearing yg breitlings... in nyc I never ever see solid gold breitlings, only in the store window at breitling actually. Are they more popular in europe?

I would say it's a broad generalization... but solid gold Breitlings are a rare sight for me period...

I can't say I've ever seen anyone in England wearing a solid yellow gold Breitling, the odd one or two tone YG/SS Navitimers or Chronomats. What I would say is that Superocean's are probably the most common watch I see out in the wild in the UK.

I've probably seen no more than two solid gold Breitlings in the wild over here ever. If anything I always assumed they'd be more popular in the States as they don't seem to be associated with the "Del Boy" image over there.
