Yesterday I threw reason to the wind and picked up a second Breitling watch; a previously owned Chrono Colt a53035. This one does show sign of wear and there is a small scratch on the crystal. It's not running so final sale depends on whether it simply needs a new battery, so we'll see. If all goes well perhaps I can wear this one instead of my good one.

Congrats! Probably just needs a new battery and all will be good.

Basically the same model as my Shark which is has been a great watch.

That sounds sacreligious!
I'd say that's on par with buying a Ferarri and leaving it in the garage!!

Only kidding, enjoy your new present.

Okay, got my Colt back from the jeweller and after installling a new battery it's working fine. So I'm adding it to my collection (of 2). As for the Fararri in the garage - at least I won't scratch it up in there :D
