Hey, glad to be on the forums. I am currently an Omega Planet Ocean owner, but for the past month or so I have been looking to purchase a Breitling, specifically a black Navitimer with the black leather strap (however, the Emergency Mission has recently also caught my eye after perusing the forum). I was just wondering what is a good price to expect to pay and if its not too much to ask, what some current owners have paid. I went to Tourneau in San Francisco a couple of weeks and the marked price for the Navitimer was $4,450 but was offered a "special" deal if I bought it that day. Thanks guys and I look forward to being a future Breitling owner, hopefully by this weekend.

I just picked up an Emergency Mission 3 weeks ago.

If you liked the Emergency (The Size), you might want to consider the Super Avenger as well.
As discussed in some recent posts - An Automatic/Mechanical Watch is the "Real Thing" for me.
The Emergency uses Super Quartz - A Superlative and High Quality Quartz movement for sure - but for me the operative word is 'Quartz'
Again - my personal opinion only.

Indeed. This SA is my first automatic watch and I already like it very much. It feels like the SA is 'alive'! In the beginning it was very strange and odd feeling the SA making movements inside. But after several days/weeks it becomes a feeling you'll miss if it isn't there anymore.

Hey guys, thanks for all the help. Just purchased a classic black and white Navitimer with a black leather strap for just under the $4450 quote from last time even though they tried to charge me around $5200 when I went back, claiming Breitling just increased the prices on their watches during the 3 weeks it took me to decide. I love the watch although it does seem a little less rugged than my old Omega Planet Ocean, but the details on the Navitimer are absolutely amazing. Will post pics soon!

Nice work, the Navitimer is a classy piece and will provide a nice contrast to the PO. (I'm a PO owner myself and I'd love to add a Navi to the collection one day.)

Look forward to seeing the pics.
