Where did you pick it up?

I too have the Skyracer and noticed the lack of information on this site.
I was begining to feel like i had the ugly duckling of the range even though i had looked at the brochure and always found myself going back to the Skyracer. I work in an airport so i see hundreds of people every day and i haven't seen one other person with a Skyracer, that's what i like about them!

I'm new to this forum, and I noticed some older posts regarding the lack of attention the Skyracer gets, so I figured I'd give it a post. I find my Skyracer to be not only beautiful, but very functional. The chronograph, in my opinion, is far superior to the 7750s in other watches I own - it's much easier to read at a glance given the red tipped minute hand around the primary dial and the totalizer at 9 o'clock. I also appreciated the utility of the countdown bezel. Sometimes the textured dial appears a deep black, sometimes grey, sometimes it appears to be almost a bronze color. Unlike the Airwolf, I do not find the textured dial to impair the legibility of the watch. It's a very unusual and bold design. Can easily be dressed up or down. Here are some photos: -FLX

That's nice! Good photos too. I like the smooth lines of the case. Seems to work well with both the poliched bracelet and the strap.

Those pictures compliment the watch very well. I will definitely be taking a closer look at the Skyracer at my next visit to my AD.

I almost bought one this summer (ended up with the AS Blacksteel instead). I agree that it's a very attractive watch, and I like the innovative chronograph approach of having the hour and minute hand on the same subdial. The price is relatively high relative to similar Breitling pieces, and that probably holds it back slightly. The Professional range is designed to be Breitling's envelope pushing range and I guess that inevitably means that watches may initially be seen as more niche market.
