I've always admired Breitlings *but* never felt the compulsive, overwhelming urge to *own* one. Then I spotted this puppy on a popular auction site a couple of years back ... and haven't seen one since! I've done my research and if I'm correct, this is a white dial A13352 Chronomat GT, from 2000-2004 or perhaps 2001-2004? I don't really care for the design changes in the newer "Evolution" model so of course now I'm stuck trying to find an out of production model - my luck seems to run that way, I always find out about things I like *after* they are hard to obtain ![]() This model does seem to be fairly common in other dial/subdial color combinations, but the white dial version seems to be an odd duck. The few listings I've seen online (all no longer available) were from non-US sellers so I am wondering if the white dial version was even introduced into the US market, since I'm guessing it was not as popular a color. http://www.geetarz.org/watches/chronomat.jpg How feasible would it be to obtain the same model watch and simply have it re-dialed? Is this even an option? Any info etc. on this model would be appreciated! Cheers, ~G 1987 Rolex Sub 16680 1967 Omega Speedy Pro 1957 Mighty Mouse (*not* Mickey Mouse) |

That's a nice watch.. I actually have one of those on my work computer as a background. That's not the GT, That's just a Chronomat... they phased on the GT naming in 2000-2001 when they got rid of the Vitesse and GT options. It is a smaller watch, but its a nice one... you can easily find them on ebay these days still ... There are much more Chronomat Evo's as they are current production.. but they are also much bigger and popular because of this. If you're interested in a Current model that is the same size/movement as the older Chronomat, you can take a look at the Chrono Cockpit: http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk/images/pr ... bre612.jpg Nice one! |
