Has any one got hold of one of these yet?

I called BUK last week for the latest info and was sent another Cronolog 08 & a Bentley Book along with new price lists.

When I queried it and asked for the Runway 08 I was told that they not available..............

"Unfortunately we are unable to distribute Runway catalogues to the public, they are for shop reference only. Many apologies for this. The new Chronolog 09 will be out in October, featuring the new models."

Me want - so just had to fork out £8 for one on eBay!

The listing also says that it's not generally available to the public - what's going on? Are they available from BUSA or in Europe?

My AD got one about 3 weeks ago, but only one. They are going to let me have one when they get more in, but didn't know when that would be.

My AD said the same thing - they only have one copy and that's it. (My AD still only has the 07 Bentley catalogue too! :? )

I picked one up a few days ago. I'll see if I can't get another one and send it to you. They are supposed to call me next week when the 49's arrive.

I tried to get hold of one as well, no joy! I turned to eBay and got out-bid at £10! I drew the line at £10 out of principle

Yes Damian - I know what you mean, I think that one went for about £12.50.

What's it all about - penny pinching I reckon. I went to just over 8 quid and got it for the 8 - I do grudge that tho' as they should be free.

I'm sure that with the £5k I've spent on their product they should at least let me have a catalogue worth a fiver. You only have to look round the forum to see that a lot of people have spent an awful lot more than that!

Still - got mine coming now so will put behind me the fact that I had to pay for it. :(

Do they give the chronologs away for free? I always they cost something, so I never bothered to ask.

I have never received one, and so last week I decided to email by nearest AD (about 1 hour and 20min away) asking if they could send me one. They said sure we would love to, just give us your address. I gave them my address, and haven't gotten anything yet, although it only takes about a day or 2 to get mail from Ceder Rapids. I giving them benefit of the doubt for a couple more weeks, then I'm either going to try the AD in Des Moines or BUSA.

Anybody know when they are going to update the website? It is pretty pathetic, with all the old models, and only a small selection and options for the new ones. Even the 360 image of the Steelfish is still the older 42mm one.
So many models are now outdated on the website. I realize Japan is an exclusive market, but I think Breitling should pay more attention to the other website. I really have never complained about a thing before involving Breitling, but this website thing is a big deal to me.
Cheers,
Carl

I picked up a Runway '08 yesterday, but they are definately not easy to obtain.

I asked in an AD in Sctoland and they tried to give me the Chronolog, the sales guy did not even know about the Runway supplement.

I really wish Breitling would hold on the new Chronolog until AFTER Basel and get everything in some kind of order....seems so rediculous to have to print a whole new, hard to get, brochure, months after the chronolog is out.

WHAT waste of time money and materials, AND it's confusing to both the public and less well informed dealers.

Maybe it would lessen the price hikes too!!!!!!!!!

On this subject, I picked up the latest price list the other day and compared it back to the previous 2 and while we all know it's been a pretty big hike, when you actually see them side by side it become apparent how considerable it's been.

For example, the Navi World increased by approx £100 with the previous price rise, but this time it's gone up £600! It's now over £4000 here in the UK. That is not an insignificant amount of money.
