It appears that our friends at Breitling USA are taking an extended Independence Day break. My AD just called back and said that he couldn't get the part I ordered until NEXT week because the offices are closed till next Monday. A week off for the Fourth? C'mon! How do I get THAT job?

Haha yep, I was in my AD a few days ago and found out the same thing. It especially sucks because we have some questions that need some answering too ;)

Not all of us have the same great hours as Breitling.

The owner of our store is a Korean War veteran, and we were open on the 4th, and Saturday.

I would swear I worked for the Third Reich.

The AD offered to put the SA on a Diver Pro strap for $50, and then send me the bracelet when he gets it from Breitling. Is that a pretty good price for the Diver Pro?

Yessir. Thats about half of what people usually pay.

I think it was a touch of guilt. He has already made the sale, taken the money, and then discovered that he couldn't provide the agreed upon product in a timely manner. This was his "let me make this right" stopgap fix. I'll take it. I've had a great experience with this AD, and would highly recommend them. (Fink's in Charlotte, NC).

Brian,

I used to be in the car business about 10 years ago. I never worked so many hours, weekends, Holidays, Birthdays, etc. I just viewed the post of the pictures of your Sweet Yellow Corvette and I would have to say that all your hard work and hours are paying off.

Thanks!

This is my 15th year in the the auto biz, 13th year in the Finance Directors chair. It has it's rewards, but I hate having to work all the damn time.
