Hello I'm new to this so I hope I don't sound like a complete idiot. Recently purchased a used 2007 chrono superocean, everything looks great but when trying to set day and date they roll over on consecutive 12 oclocks meaning I cannot set day and date correctly. Am I doing something wrong or has the watch been damaged by setting at the dreaded 8 till 3.

Turn the crown in the opposite direction in the date change position.

Thank you for replying to my post. Roffensian I do not quite understand what you are telling me to do, could you please explain further? The problem I am having is the Day changes at the first 12.00 and then the Date 12 hrs later!

Oh, sorry, misunderstood - that's weird!

I can't think of a logical explanation for that happening so I think that it needs a trip to Breitling.

No, the date changes at 12.00 and then the day changes 12 hrs later, therefore I don't know which is noon or midnight. What a kerfuffle, talked to a repair guy he says there are two fingers in the mechanism for day and date and one must be broken Ugh!

Given that, I'd say Roff is right: send it to Breitling. I don't think you want non-Breitling people handling that. Sorry you're going through this; it's a drag.
