I remember seeing a pic somewhere, I think it was here, of a Chornomat 01 LE on a DP II strap. I have been trying to find the pic with no luck.

I'm looking to see how to size out a new pair of summer shoes for mine, I want to get the right deployant etc. I noted a deployant for sale here, brushed of course in the classifieds, trying to determine if it is what I want/need. I'm guessing that the Chronomat 01 is 22/20, so I just need a 20mm deployant, and a 22/20 deployant strap and a pair of pins. Forgive my ignorance, this will be my first ever Ling strap. Only had bracelets till now!

Hi Justin,
I had posted pics of mine on DP I "Hershey" strap with buckle and an Ocean Racer (one with the holes) on deployant. I can't do it from work, but I can send more pics when I get home. The DPII or Ocean Racer on deployant are both great and very comfy. DPII is smooth and OR has the holes. Yes, 22/20 is the correct size. So you will need 20mm pins for the deployant clasp. Just be very careful when sizing it. Use a new razor blade and only cut one "section" at a time. Size it with the clasp all they way in, so you have room to extend. I know others have posted "How to" on this subject. You'll love the look and comfort. If you need any other good scoop shoot me a pm. :D

-Don

It is 22 / 20, there are actually four spring bars - one at each end of each piece of the strap.

Thanks Don, I might go ahead and snag a DPII, I would like something super comfy. I'm right in the middle of the sizing right now on the bracelet, super annoying position to be in. Please post as many pics as you want!

Thanks Roff, good point I had not realized I would need 4 spring bars, I thought there was a clamp of some type on the deployant, didn't realize there were pins in there at all.

Maybe I should get this all done up at the AD for the first go around lol.

Yes, as Roff pointed out, the 20mm pins connect the strap to the clasp. It's a little tricky, but not rocket surgery. I'll shoot ya some pics and good gouge tonight.

Anyone know what an average price for the 20mm deployant (brushed) would be at an AD? Mine is gone for the day already :(

Here's a few shots. Looks good on a black calf too. :D I think an ocean racer clasp with rubber strap retails for around $400.

Thanks Don, that sure puts a bug in my brain about it.

Lawyer told me she wants another handful of cash on Monday, there goes the better part of my next piece >.<
