Just registered on this forum after a long time reading posts. Have made the decision that my first Breitling, indeed first watch, has to be bought. But where to start?.... Have been looking at the Breitling Chrono-Matic 1461. Just wondered if anyone could give opinion on this one, specifically about the case size, ( as it seems to be large ) and how it wears due to the size. Also what form of strap fixing is best to go for. What AD discounts are available in the UK over the SRRP? Is it considered a modern style? Is their any other Breitling watch that woul outshine my choice or is it all down tothe love of the timepiece.

All comments appriciated

Cheers

Have to go for what watch you like personally and try a few on to decide what size and style suits you..

As for price my ad I use in uk normally gives me 30 - 40% discount.

Pm if want more info if decide to purchase and will introduce you.

Cheers

Best way to find out is go try a bunch on, before I bought my first I was always nervous to try them on. But now I walk into my AD and ask to wear whatever strikes me that day. Good to try on ones you like and also don't like as it helps reinforce your decisions.

Cheers and best luck

The discount varies so just ask in a few places and start low saying your would purchase at such a price etc.

We have two UK based sponsors - links at the top of the page - Banks Lyon and Andrew Michaels. Get in touch with them and they'll be able to help you out.
