Just been into town to pick up a wedding suit and popped over the road for a quick look in the AD while I was there.

What did I see staring back at me from pride of place in the centre of the display. Yes, my dream watch - a white face emergency mission. Bartered a 20% discount (down to £2.5k). Is that reasonable?

The truth is, I can't afford it at the moment but GOD it's so tempting!

I'd say that was a pretty good price, especially for the UK. (I'm guessing you are UK with the use of the "£" sign).

If it's your wedding - congrats! And if it's not yours - mine's a pint!

And yep, I'm in the UK, oop north! Not my wedding, my sisters and I'm giving here away (at last  ) :) I got married last year, if I hadn't I'd have that Emergency on my wrist right now!

That's a fantastic price! Is it on the Pro II or a strap?

Here's a couple of pics to keep you warm at night....

It was on the Pro II bracelet.

Considering taking out a loan, how to hide purchase from the wife though .......

Well, I've decided that I just can't justify the Mission at this point (unless my numbers come up tonight :) ) so I got the cape cods out and gave my transocean a bit of a once over -

What do you use to get right into the corners to clean them? I've tried a cotton bud but it's too big?

 Wow I admire your will-power! Will-power is not something that most of us on here are blessed with! (Or maybe that's just me!! )

BTW, your Transocean looks great. The old Cape Cods come through with the goods again!
