whenever I discover something I like they discontinue it. Are they replacing it with something similar?

Hi I was visiting my AD today and I saw he had a big date blackbird on a metal strap in his case it's the one with the date at twelve o'clock opposed to the old one with the date at three o'clock Really nice watch and I'm considering it. But he said that they were being discontinued after this year. Is that right? Or maybe he was mixed up with the older model? Thanks |

Actually discontinued after Basel last year, but still fairly available (for now). |

Based on Breitling's recent events, they retire a popular model and replace it with someone buttfugly. |
