In all the 5 i had never had any kind of issues regarding precision or handle care, when i requested a dial change in one of the times, the shipping to breitling factory and back was free of charge, i just drop it at my local AD. I believe you had bad luck in that watch :(

:yeahthat If you take it to your AD, they will (or should) ship it free of charge. Also, this is the first time I've heard of the whole "personal wearing habits" thing regarding staying within COSC specs. Sounds like a load of BS to me. Has anybody else heard of that?

Accuracy does depend on wearing habits indirectly - position, temperature, average amount of power reserve, etc; but the differences from one user to another are not likely to have a noticeable difference - a watch that runs 4 seconds fast a day when you wear it may be 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 when I wear it, but not -2 or + 10.

I did contact my AD, Mr. George Mayer from Govberg Jewelers.

He suggested that I purchase an auto-winder to keep the watch full wound.

Purportedly for the 10 minutes a day that I'm in the shower, and the 3 hours a week I'm at the gym???

I don't think so.

Govberg fought for me all of ZERO!

If that's true then that's a terrible job by George. I'd be furious as well.

While it seems he has a good reputation on this site, this is somewhat troubling as I looked at his dealer corner all the time. This is something to keep in mind. Sorry to the OP I wish you could get it all worked out, sometimes you get a real bad taste in your mouth and thats all it takes to turn you off.

I do have the email exchange with George Mayer/Govberg but it probably isn't worth posting it. If Govberg wants to help me after seeing this forum topic, I would welcome it. My original email to George contained the full dialogue I had already had with BUSA, and I also asked George if Govberg worked with anyone at Breitling that they could escalate to. He didn't answer that question. Just suggested the auto-winder.
