I was wondering if anyone knew if I can replace the strap on the Chronospace Automatic with the speed bracelet from the Motors T. The strap sizes are the same, the inter horn width is 24mm.

I really want the bracelet option on the Chronospace but don't like the the mesh strap and prefer the two tone speed bracelet. The Chronospace Automatic is also two tone and, in my opinion, goes really well with this bracelet.

I have attached images, the first is the Chronospace, the second the Motors T and the third is a photoshopped image of the speed bracelet on the Chronospace.

Let me know that you think, thanks!

Very much doubt that it will work, Breitling end links are custom fit to the case so it's more complex than simple lug width. Case geometry and spring bar hole location have to be factored in.

Thanks Roff, I kinda tried this at a dealer, the width was fine and it seemed to fit properly below the case, but the dealer was reluctant to try and put the spring bar on it.

I've been eying this beautiful piece with the pro III bracelet and the numbered volcano black dial for a good while now. I feel my pockets burning already.

Nice choice! That was on my short list as well but I think I want the eye popping blue :)

I was not a big fan of the mesh bracelet and I have to say I not to such a fan of this one as well. The previous bracelet just kept the face on your wrist and it would fall straight down over your wrist but the new on attaches into the body of the watch making it look bulkier and altering the fit completely. Here's a pic of it on my had with the mesh and professional bracelet.

If the watch is the right size for you, it should fit your wrist just fine on a properly fitted bracelet. If it's sticking out too much, that's an indication the watch is too big for you. Even though the mesh will "drop through" the lugs to conform more to your wrist, the lugs will still stick out if the watch is too big for you. Based on those pictures, it looks like you might be better off going with a smaller watch.

On a related note, I can only imagine how the 49mm Motors T would fit on you - maybe it's just as well you can't find any.

Yup the Motors T is way too big for my wrist but it's not for me :)

I really like this dial so I know I am going to get. I will just have to bide my time until then.
