I am still waiting on my 1st Breitling SOP watch that I bought used to come back from a total overhaul from Breitling, and I am about to go crazy waiting.

So, I am thinking of maybe buying a watch online from a reputable dealer. There is 1 dealer around here locally but quite honestly, they are extremely proud of what they have an really wont even come off their price any. Their loss!

I am looking at buying maybe 1 or 2 watches. Either 2 watches that would cost around $2500.00 each approx..or maybe even consider 1 watch in the $5000.00 range. Would honestly rather have 2 watches but if I see something that I just cant live without I will jump on it.

What would be the best place to go online to purchase a watch?

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

I got mine from the Watchery. No problems.
Prestige time at the top of this page.
Just plug in Breitling on the net and look.
I've bought from Ashfords.com....O.K. been to the H.Q. in Houston.

Why not contact one of the US based site sponsors - contact jnelson3097 for Govbergs and FEAR for Provident.

They are both out of state for you so no sales tax and will be able to give you pricing close to or better than the grey market with the benefit of a Breitling warranty, the knowledge that the watch is new and not a customer / warranty return, and the security of knowing that they won't take your money unless they have stock.

Thanks Roffensian, when I get a free moment from work I will be contacting them. jnelson3097 also contacted me about this and I appreciate all the help. Going this route will probably save me a few dollars so I can go buy myself a Happy Meal now :cheer:

Thanks for all the help, its most appreciated!

Oh yea, I just got a text from the wife and she hinted that Valentines Day is coming up and her 37th birthday is Feb 15th...now I have to look for a ladies watch as well.....this dang lingerie I got for her to wear for me on Valentines day better not go to waste or else  maybe I can just bill Breitling for the lingerie :lingsrock:

has anyone bought off of authenticwatches.com or jomasshop.com? I googled breitling, and those where one of the first ones to pop up. I bought mine locally, but think I might want to save some money next time. I'm thinking of getting a mark VI.

personally i would not want to deal with either of those companies as they are "grey market" dealers and breitling will not honor any piece that came from them. IMO i would rather by from an AD.

when you say "grey market" does it mean it's not necessarily authentic? new?

"Grey market" means the watches are still authentic and new (99.9% of the time at least!), but the selling company is not an approved/authorised dealer - i.e. not approved by Breitling.

I highly recommend jnelson3097 and George for Govberg. I bought 2 Breitling from them and they were very professional and pleasant to deal with.

I just bought one from FEAR and could not be happier! I'm in MN and he's in FL. He had the watch I wanted and the transaction was smooth as silk. There is really no advantage to trying to find a grey market watch when you can use Breitling Source to connect you with some GREAT AD's so you know what you're getting.
