Does anyone know when a newer model of the Breitling Super Avenger will be released. Im asking this because Im interested in buying a Super Avenger but it was released in 2004. All the other Avenger additions date 2008 and onwards. So it looks like there might be a change soon. ![]() |

That's anybody's guess I am afraid. We are only a month away from this year's Basel when most new releases occur so probably at least worth waiting to see what happens there, but the SA is still a big seller so I wouldn't expect any dramatic changes. |

I haven't heard anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if a change is coming soon. The last Chrono Superocean was introduced in 2003 and finally got an upgrade last year, and that was an eternity by Breitling standards. They don't like to let their models grow moss. Roff does make a good point that the SA is a good seller. Then again, there was a time when the Chronomat Evolution was the brand's top seller, but that didn't stop Breitling from discontinuing it entirely. Also, given the changes Breitling has made to its much-loved classics in recent years, the existing SA might be the one to get. At any rate, waiting until the new models debut at Basel in March will let you see if one is coming out this year. |

I would be entirely shocked if they did much of anything to the SA. Moreso than the Steelfish into SO44 debacle. |

The Legendary Super Bling Avenger has been a consistent Top Seller for Breitling so I highly doubt it that they will make some stupid changes to it. For me, its design and size is perfect which probably explains why it is hugely popular. From what I also noticed, it has the best resale value and easiest to sell among all Breitling models. ![]() |

After all the birds Breitling has flipped its core customer base over the last few years, I'm surprised people here are so confident the SA is untouchable. As I said earlier, there was a time when the Evo was also a top seller, and they had no problem getting rid of it. I'm not saying the SA will for sure be changed for the worse; in fact, common sense would suggest it won't be. But Breitling has shown an astonishing lack of common sense of late. |

Hope they do update, and bring out an all black arabic face with an updated bezel, much like the one on the Avenger. Even better if its in-house movement, but I won't hold my breath. |

I'm sure whatever Breitling does to the Sa , it wont be good, it appears Breitling is now run by Rappers ,and Dc Comics. |
