Hello,

I'm new to the Breitling line, I was hoping for some input on what to Pay for a Breitling Bentley T Limited Edition in Rose Gold / Mother of Pearl dial. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you - Tim

New/used? Bracelet/strap?

You're talking around $25,000 new on a strap. As much as $45,000 with a solid gold bracelet. No idea if/what discounts there may be.

If you're looking at used be VERY careful where you buy from. There are some excellent replicas of this exact model around. If it has the serial number 713071 then it's a fake.

I just purchased a used one, Bentley T in rose gold/MoP dial in perfect condition on Ebay. The prices seem to vary on Ebay as I've watched them for a few month now over different sellers. What do you think is fair price? I never owned a Breitling before, I've always owned a Rolex. Thanks for the heads up, I was very cautious about getting a fake, so I took the appropriate steps to ensure that I would not get taken.

Why dont you just tell us what you paid and we can decipher whether it sounds ok or not. Its kind of hard to put a price on something thats not too common.

I also brought it to my local Breilting dealer to confirm it wasn't a fake. It was flawless upon receiving it. Anyway to tell how old it is? I'm not clear on what year this watch was made. Information seems to be hard to find, not allot out there on this watch. Thx

You really ruined that seller's feedback. His fees now will be higher and the visibility of his auctions will go to the basement.

Lovely watch by the way, but what made you give the guy such a poor feedback originally?

It was an error and meant for someone else, not this seller. If you look at the feedback right below it as well as the feedback left by the seller you will see that the transaction was flawless. I have contacted Ebay to have it removed, I felt terrible about it, it was a mistake.

Could anyone talk to this watch, was what I paid fair for the watch a fair price? Is there a way to tell the year of a Breitling?

If it's in mint condition like you say (and is genuine, obviously!) then if you paid $16k, that's a fantastic price for a solid gold model on the bracelet. (Although you have to remember I am in the UK and our prices are very high).

In terms of age, remove the bracelet and between the lugs at one end (if memory serves I think it's the 6 end) you will see a 4 digit number - for example 2407. In this case the 24 means that it was made during the 24th week of the year and the year is 07.
