Oh I can assure you that it will be worn with pride.
It will take a few days before that big smile from ear to ear will start fading away slowly from my face :D
One thing that puzzles me however. The AD has two standard TO models in stock, one black and one silver dial.
Both were however fitted with the clear exhibition back case. Has Breitling started deploying the exhibition back cases in standard models now? Does anyone know more about this?

Cheers,
Wessa.

Cheers,
Wessa.

When I was looking to buy one I too initially thought the display back was LE only, but was pleased when I found out that both the LE and normal TO Chrono / 01 has the display back as standard. (The non-chrono doesn't have the display back). The main difference with the LE is the choice of dial / sub-dial colour combinations, and of course the LE script on the side of the case.
Lovely watch, good choice.

That is one hell of a watch! One I would love to own one day.

I was always curious as to why Breitling took some of the exclusivity out of the LE aspect. The display back on both models and having LE models in both contrasting and some color sub dials, while offering the alternate for non-LE models. I would have done the LE in contrasting dials and the regular run in all black/silver. Just my 2 cents

Yes, it has crossed my mind that some eagle eye will notice it.
One of the recent purchases was named "Connie" so this one was named "Trannie".
Good job watches have no feelings. Or??? :D

Wessa, it looks like you went with the mesh. If I recall from your other thread, the original choice was on black calf. Did you change your mind? Congrats on the pickup, btw.

A little clarification, the calf configurations mentioned in the original post was what the AD had on display in the shop.
For me however a Breitling watch default configuration is on metal. Anything else is an add-on accessory.
In my modest opinion at least.

/Wessa.
