interested in a BREITLING CROSSWIND SPECIAL. PILOT BRACELET A44355 white/pearl face 2005, i thought these where discontinued in 2004???? could this have been NOS, serviced BUK 2010 and bought from a UK AD,( so he paid a premium) what would be a fair price for this private sale. excellent condition. i do not want to offend the seller, a friend of a friend

There may still be NOS examples still. I found an Omega "Great white" GMT Seamster NOS 6 years after it wass discontinued. So 2005 for a purchase date on a Crosswind Special is not unusual.

These are highly desired and cost about $4,950 US in 2004. They seem to go between $3,000 - $3,500 now, in good condition.

Hi Sharkman many thanks for that, i was thinking around that price it is a mint example, i think they want a quick sale as well and i think they have been back to the AD (UK) for a straight sale. i want to be at least on the same playing field as the seller.
