Post subject:  Breitling boutiques

Hello!

Do you know how many Breitling boutiques are there (I was told 8 but I'm not sure...)? and where are they located (Japan and China, that's what I heard...)?

Many thanks in advance for the tips!

Patrick

Hello and welcome to the forum!

How do you mean with a Breitling boutique? I would assume you're talking about shops that only sell Breitling? In Tokyo there's a "House of Breitling Ginza" that only carries Breitling, but I was disappointed by their stock supply. Their sister shops in Tokyo are bigger and have more models in house, but also carries a lot of other brands. (I can really recommend the BEST branch in Shinjuku - 6 floors with high end watches!).

My AD had an event a couple of years back to open what they called their new "Breitling Boutique". Maybe I was expecting too much, but it turned out to just be a small section of the shop with some Breitling display cases. :? It was a good event though - a guy from Breitling UK turned up with some excellent champagne! :)

Thank you for your answers!

I am indeed looking for boutiques that only sell Breitling watches. I heard there were only a few. I'm actually a student working for my thesis on luxury watches and I intend to dedicate a large section to Breitling. In addition to the number and locations of standalone boutiques, have you heard of events sponsored by Bretiling or a charity they have supported since September 2007?

You'll be of GREAT help!!!

I think you will probably get the most reliable answer and also the answer with the best source for your thesis if you contact Breitling directly. If you're ploite and friendly enough in your approach I'm sure they will help you with all information needed.

Examinators tend to rather see a more official source than a forum... :)

As Aleister says, I would try Breitling direct. This sounds like exactly the sort of thing that their PR department will be delighted to assist with.

Just curious, what type of class is this for? Something dealing with consumer behavior?

There is a Breitling Boutique in Nassau, Bahamas. It's run by Little Switzerland. From the outside it doesn't look nice, but the inside is very nice.

No, it wasn't there on display when I went there.

But, I was impressed and tempted by the all rose gold Flying B Chronograph. If only I was a rich man... :) A whopping $57,700.
