Trying to keep my third eye out for a gently used SA or SWC. I would purely want this as my "fun" dicking around watch on the weekends. I would leave it on a OR straps at all times. I'm leaning toward the SWC due to the less maintenance it requires (I believe) and its ruggedness with water as I would be bringing this to the beach and what not.

Which would you choose?

I wouldn't choose either. The SA is just way too big and while I like the styling of the SWC I don't like that it's quartz. I would go with an Avenger or a Seawolf non-Chrono, but that's just my opinion.

I don't think the SA is a good "fun dicking around watch" as it is way too big of a watch. I think something smaller like the SWC or Avenger would be much better suited for that purpose.

I bought a SW Ti just for that purpose and have been very happy with it. I don't worry about it at all but it still feels good to wear.
